Installation of smart RV door lock:

The smart door lock consists of an internal lock body and an external lock body and needs to be installed separately.
Notice: There is a wire connecting the external lock body and the internal lock body. Disconnect the plug carefully.

Install the smart lock

The installation hole for the smart lock: the length is 2.75 inches, the height is 3.75 inches, and the thickness is between 1.25 and 1.5 inches.

• Step 1

  Remove the four installation screws of the smart lock and unplug the connecting wires between the components. Then, carefully install the external part of the smart lock into the door hole from the outside. Make sure not to crush the connecting wires. Align the latch with the hole and install the Strike Plate. Don't tighten the screws of the Strike Plate just yet.

• Step 2

  Install the inner part of the lock body: First, connect the wires between the inner and outer lock bodies. Then, align it with the hole of the switch. The hole of the switch is in the shape of a D, and pay attention that it has a specific orientation. Next, align the reset of the inner handle with the gap of the latch of the outer lock body. Finally, install the four mounting screws, adjust the positions of the inner and outer lock bodies, and then tighten all the screws. The installation of the lock body is now complete.

• Step 3

  Install the Pinch Plate: The original Pinch Plate of your vehicle can be used directly. You can also replace it with the Pinch Plate included in our accessories. We have provided two specifications of screws. Please select the appropriate screw according to the specification of your existing screws. Then, close the door for a test and adjust the position of the Pinch Plate to the optimal state.

Smart lock pro tip

When installing the lock body, be sure to take care not to pinch or press the connecting wires to avoid damaging them.
Finally, open the battery compartment, install the four AA batteries included in our accessories, then set the password and pair the remote control.
